BYD Han EV Flash Charging Version Launched in China with 705 km Range
BYDChinese automaker BYD has officially launched the new Han EV Flash Charging Edition in China, bringing major upgrades in battery and charging technology. The model is available in two variants, priced between 179,800 – 187,800 yuan (≈ $24,800 – $25,900 USD).
⚡ Ultra-Fast Charging Breakthrough
The biggest highlight of the new Han EV is its next-generation fast charging system, combined with the second-generation Blade Battery. According to BYD:
- 10% → 70% charge in just 5 minutes
- 10% → 97% charge in 9 minutes
- Even at -30°C, charging time increases by only 3 minutes
BYD also claims it has already built over 5,500 fast-charging stations across China, making this technology more practical for everyday use.

The Han EV Flash Charging Edition comes with a 240 kW electric motor, delivering strong performance:
- 0–100 km/h in 6.5 seconds
- Maximum range: 705 km (CLTC)
- Energy consumption: 10.8 kWh/100 km
This positions the model as one of the most efficient electric sedans in its class.
