Changan Qiyuan has officially released the first images of the 2026 Changan Hunter K50, a flagship extended-range electric pickup truck set to go on sale on June 13, 2026. The updated model arrives with meaningful improvements across range, battery capacity, and output — cementing the Hunter K50’s position as one of China’s most capable electric pickup trucks.

Design Changan Hunter K50: Familiar Yet Purposeful

The 2026 Hunter K50 carries forward the outgoing model’s visual identity, which has proven popular in the market. Up front, the truck retains its borderless grille flanked by H-shaped LED lamp clusters — a distinctive look that makes it instantly recognizable. The profile shows a crew-cab body with a matte-finish roll bar (龙门架), adding rugged utility appeal. At the rear, vertical tail light clusters pair with a prominent Changan lettering badge on the tailgate lid.

All trim levels now come standard with 30 kW vehicle-to-load (V2L) discharge, supporting simultaneous dual-output at 3.3 kW, with total stored energy capacity rated at 239 kWh — a significant boost for off-grid and work-site use.

New Drive Modes for Off-Road Capability

The 2026 K50 adds dedicated Mountain Mode and Wading Mode to the drive mode lineup, improving the truck’s capability on steep inclines and shallow water crossings. Four-wheel-drive variants also receive a standardized 110 kW front motor across the board.
